Real Madrid to beat Man City and Man Utd to Lewandowski

Real Madrid are moving for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

Both Manchester United and Manchester City are hot on the heels of the Bayern Munich man and incoming Etihad boss Pep Guardiola is convinced he holds the edge in the race, says the Daily Star Sunday.

But even the Spaniard's relationship with Lewandowski, following their two years together at Munich, is unlikely to help City land their man now that Real have entered the equation.

The Spanish giants have decided to get rid of French forward Karim Benzema this summer.

And they see Lewandowski, 27, who has smashed 44 goals in 61 Bundesliga outings for Bayern, as the perfect replacement.
